Women's Berets

Women's berets handmade in Ukraine — wool berets with a flower for autumn and winter, light linen berets for spring and summer, and mink fur berets for real cold. The classic French silhouette, sized 54–60 cm.

A Beret for Every Season

The beret never really goes out of style. The trick is wearing the right one for the weather instead of forcing a heavy wool beret through July. That's why we make ours in three materials — wool, linen and fur — so there's a beret for every month of the year.

Every beret is cut and shaped by hand in our workshop in Ukraine, not stamped from a mold. The fit stays the same across materials: snug at the brow, a little room at the crown, easy to tilt.

Wool Berets with a Flower

Our wool berets are soft, warm and finished with a hand-sewn flower on the side — tonal on darker colors, a quiet detail rather than a loud one. Wool holds its shape all day in wind and drizzle, and keeps your head warm from the first cold mornings in October right through winter.

Four colors: black and dark grey for every day with any coat, ivory for a light, festive look with camel or white, and red when you want the beret to be the main accent of the outfit.

Linen Berets for Spring and Summer

Light, breathable and easy to pack. A linen beret isn't about warmth — it's the finishing touch for a city walk, a café terrace or a summer trip, and it keeps the sun off your hair. Linen softens with every wear and looks better slightly lived-in.

Six colors: white and ivory for a classic summer look, khaki and grey for everyday neutrals, powder blue for something fresh, and black for an evening or all-black outfit.

Mink Fur Berets

For real winter, we make berets in mink — the beret silhouette with the warmth of a fur hat, in black, white, brown, pastel, pearl beige, sapphire and graphite, some with a fur bow or flower. They're shown in this collection too, and the full range with shapes and colors is in our fur berets collection.

Which Beret for Which Season

Season Beret Why

Women's Berets — Questions

Wool beret or linen beret — which should I choose?

Wool for autumn and winter: it's warm, holds its shape and handles wind and drizzle. Linen for spring and summer: it's light, breathable and keeps the sun off your hair. If you want one beret for most of the year outside summer, choose wool.

Can I wear a beret in summer?

Yes — our linen berets are made for warm weather. They're light and breathable, keep the sun off your hair and work as a styling piece rather than a warm layer.

Is the flower on the wool beret removable?

No, the flower is hand-sewn to the beret as part of the design. On black and dark grey it's tonal and subtle; on ivory and red it's more visible. Wear it on the side, toward the front or the back — the beret can be turned to place the flower where you like.

Is this a French beret?

It's the classic French beret silhouette — round, soft, worn tilted — made by hand in our workshop in Ukraine. Unlike mass-produced berets, ours come in real head sizes from 54 to 60 cm instead of one-size-fits-all.

What size beret should I order?

Measure your head just above the eyebrows and ears. Our berets come in 54–60 cm. If you're between sizes, size up — a beret should sit snug at the brow with a little room at the crown.

Can I wash a linen beret?

Yes. Hand-wash it gently in cool water with a mild detergent, don't wring it, and dry it flat or over a rounded form so it keeps its shape. Wool berets should be spot-cleaned with a damp cloth instead of washed.

Which beret is warmest?

Mink first, then wool. Linen berets are for warm weather and aren't meant to keep you warm. For real winter cold, see our fur berets.
