Handcrafted Products
All of our hats are handcrafted by skilled artisans in our Dnipro, Ukraine workshop. We use premium natural materials including:

- Wool: Cashmere, merino, wool blends
- Other Materials: Cotton, linen, leather, suede
Because each hat is handmade, slight variations in color, texture, grain, and finish are natural and should be expected. These variations are not defects but rather characteristics of authentic handcrafted goods.
Product Descriptions and Images
We make every reasonable effort to display our products accurately, including colors, materials, dimensions, and features. However, we cannot guarantee that your computer monitor, tablet, or mobile device will accurately display colors. Actual product colors may vary slightly from what appears on your screen.
All measurements provided are approximate. Handcrafted items may have slight variations in size.

Product Availability

Prices do not include shipping costs, which are calculated separately at checkout based on your location and the weight of your order.
4. Ordering and Payment

USA Customers - Customs and Duties
Important: For customers in the United States, we cover all customs duties, import taxes, and fees. The price you see at checkout is your final price. There will be no additional charges or surprise fees when your package arrives.
When you place an order for delivery to the USA, we pay the customs duties and import fees during the shipping process. This is included in your order total.
International Customers - Customs and Duties
For customers outside the United States, you may be responsible for paying customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or other fees imposed by your country's customs authority.
These charges are determined by your local customs office and are beyond our control. They are not included in your order total or shipping charges. You are responsible for paying these fees to the carrier or customs authority.

Delivery Issues
Incorrect Address: If you provide an incorrect or incomplete shipping address, we are not responsible for non-delivery or delays. If the package is returned to us, we will contact you to arrange reshipment at your expense.
Failed Delivery Attempts: If the carrier attempts delivery and no one is available to receive the package, they may leave a notice or attempt redelivery. If the package is returned to the carrier depot and not collected within the specified time, it may be returned to us. Reshipment will be at your expense.
Lost or Stolen Packages: Once a package is marked as delivered by the carrier, we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. We recommend tracking your shipment and arranging for secure delivery if you will not be home. Some carriers offer options like signature confirmation or delivery to a secure location.
Damaged in Transit: If your package arrives damaged, contact us immediately at info@capshatsua.com with photos of the packaging and product. We will work with you and the carrier to resolve the issue.
Risk of Loss
All items purchased from Caps&HatsUA are shipped under a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for products passes to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier.
6. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds
Return Period
You may return eligible items within 30 days of the delivery date for a refund or exchange.
Return Conditions
To be eligible for return, items must:
- Be unworn and unused
- Be in original condition with all tags attached
- Be free from odors, stains, or damage
- Include all original packaging and accessories
We inspect all returned items. Items that do not meet these conditions may not be accepted for return or may be subject to a restocking fee.

Return Shipping Costs
Our Error (wrong item, defective, damaged): We will provide a prepaid return shipping label or reimburse your return shipping costs.
Change of Mind or Size/Fit Issues: You are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping method.

Fur Hats:
- Brush gently with a soft fur brush after each wear

- Avoid contact with water, perfume, and chemicals
Wool and Cashmere Hats:
- Hand wash in cool water with wool-specific detergent
- Air dry flat, away from direct heat
- Steam gently to restore shape if needed
- Store with moth repellent (cedar or lavender)
Cotton and Linen Hats:
- Hand wash or machine wash cold on gentle cycle
- Air dry on a hat form to maintain shape
- Iron while slightly damp if needed
Leather Hats:
- Wipe with a dry cloth after each wear
- Condition every 3-6 months with leather conditioner
- Avoid prolonged exposure to water
- Store in a cool, dry place
