Black Mink Fur and Suede Ushanka Hat with Bill for Men.
Ushanka Meets Baseball Cap
This is a hybrid. Traditional ushanka construction with earflaps that go up or down. Plus a structured bill in front like a baseball cap. Best of both styles.
Black mink fur on earflaps and sections. Teflon-coated black suede on the main body and bill. The Teflon treatment repels water—light rain and snow just wipe off.
Two Ways to Wear It
Earflaps up? Looks like a baseball cap with extra coverage. Casual style for milder days or indoor/outdoor transitions.
Earflaps down? Full ushanka mode. Covers ears and part of your neck. Ties under chin or behind head to keep everything secure. For when temperature actually drops.
The bill stays regardless. Keeps sun and snow out of your eyes. Something pure ushankas don't have.
Why Mix These Materials
Mink provides warmth where you need it. Earflaps, crown sections. Dense natural insulation.
Suede adds structure and durability. The bill holds its shape. Main body handles wear better than fur would. Teflon coating means wet weather doesn't ruin it. Just wipes clean.
Hand-built in our Ukraine workshop. Takes longer than single-material hats because you're coordinating different textures.
All-Black Design
Works with everything. Winter coats, ski gear, casual wear. The black mink and black suede blend together. Not competing—coordinated.
Fits 56-61cm heads. Universal sizing with adjustable elements.
What's Included: Black mink fur sections. Teflon-coated black suede body and bill. Insulated lining. Earflaps adjust up or down. Ties. Universal fit. Handmade Ukraine. Worldwide tracked shipping.
Taking Care of It
Mink sections need soft fur brush. Suede needs suede brush—different tool. Wipe Teflon-coated areas with damp cloth. Store cool and dry. Professional cleaning once per season for both materials.

Questions
How does the bill change things?
Adds function pure ushankas don't have. Keeps precipitation and sun out of your face. When earflaps are up, you've basically got a winter baseball cap. When they're down, you've got full ushanka coverage plus bill protection. More versatile than either style alone.
Can I wear earflaps up all the time?
Yes. That's the point of adjustable design. Mild weather? Keep them up. Looks more casual, less coverage. Temperature drops? Flip them down. You're not locked into one configuration. The ties secure them either way.
Does Teflon coating affect how it feels?
Not really. Teflon treatment is on the surface. Suede still feels like suede to touch. Just doesn't soak up water like untreated material would. You won't notice it until something wet hits the hat and just slides off instead of soaking in.
Is this warmer than regular ushankas?
About the same when earflaps are down. Warmth comes from mink sections and lining, not the suede. Main advantage here is weather resistance and the bill option. For pure warmth in dry cold, equivalent. For wet conditions, this handles better.
Bill structured or soft?
Structured. Reinforced to hold shape like a baseball cap bill. Won't flop or lose form. The suede covering adds durability. Stays consistent through wear and weather.
Fit with earflaps in different positions?
Fits the same either way. 56-61cm head circumference. When earflaps are up, they don't affect fit—just change appearance. When down, they add coverage but the crown size stays identical. Measure one finger width above ears for sizing.
Care for bill specifically?
Wipe with damp cloth. The Teflon coating on suede makes this easy. Don't submerge or soak. Brush suede sections with suede brush if they get dusty. The structured reinforcement inside stays intact with basic surface cleaning.
